I graduated from the University of Virginia School of law in 1984. I spent four years working for Stoel, Rives, Boley, Fraser and Wyse (Portland's largest firm), followed by a yearlong trip around the world (primarily Asia), before settling into Hollander, Lebenbaum and Gannicott.
My caseload is approximately one-third personal injury cases, one-third work injury cases and one-third civil rights/employment related matters. I have handled a wide variety of tort actions, including product liability, medical/dental malpractice and wrongful death.
I have also handled numerous appellate matters and argued cases before the Ninth Circuit Court of Appeals, Tenth Circuit Court of Appeals, Oregon Supreme Court and Oregon Court of Appeals.
I pride myself on understanding a client's goals and providing thorough, efficient legal service to achieve them. I work hard to be accessible to and respectful of my clients, as the two biggest gripes I have heard from legal consumers is inability to reach their attorney and lack of attention to the client's concerns and desires.
